It starts with an intake. A member of our intake team will speak with you about the patient’s care needs, collect all pertinent information and discuss the frequency of care you’d like. A coordinator and a nurse are assigned to your case. The day the case “opens” the aide and one of our nurses will arrive at your home. The nurses’ visit is meant to access the patient’s care needs to create a plan of care for the aide to follow.
Aides are pre-screened to determine their general healthcare knowledge. Upon review of their application (verified background check, medical clearance, etc.), and meeting with our HR team, they can be scheduled into our training classes, instructed by one of our nurse educators.
